Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Bridget Regan stays dry under an umbrella as she makes her way to the New York City set of 'Murder in Manhattan' Please do not remove tags.
Bridget Regan has been cast in the drama pilot executive produced by Ryan Reynolds.
Legend of the Seeker star Bridget Regan is heading to Manhattan.
Regan, who has appeared on The CW's Beauty and the Beast, has landed a lead role on the ABC drama pilot Murder in Manhattan, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Murder in Manhattan, from executive producer Ryan Reynolds, follows a mother and daughter in New York City who team as amateur sleuths.
Former Legend Of The Seeker star Bridget Regan has been tapped as a lead in ABC’s hourlong pilot Murder In Manhattan, executive produced by Ryan Reynolds. Written by Maria Maggenti and directed by Cherie Nowlan, Murder In Manhattan is a dramedy set in New York centering on mother Blythe and daughter Lex (Regan) who team up as amateur sleuths. The sassy Lex works in the Mayor’s office by day, and works as sleuth with Blythe by night. Reynolds and Allan Loeb’s DarkFire TV co-produc...
Tonight’s Beauty and the Beast (The CW, 9/8c) marks Bridget Regan’s final turn as Alex, who last was seen freaking the fluff out upon learning Vincent’s secret. But if she is about to exit stage left, it appears she will first give her ex-fiancée something to remember her by.
And no, that ain’t Cupid’s arrow jabbing into his neck on Valentine’s Day.
“Alex is a nurse who’s used to really high-stakes situations, so it’s not like she hasn’t seen truly horrible things in ...
The complicated love story on "Beauty and the Beast" has only gotten more complicated over the past few episodes. On top of the forbidden romance shared by Vincent and Catherine (Jay Ryan and Kristin Kreuk), a new wrinkle has arrived: Alex, Vincent's former fiancee and first love.
We talked to Bridget Regan ("Legend of the Seeker") the actress who plays Alex, to learn more about the character and what new love problems are on their way.
Why does Vincent fall so quickly for someone from ...
Bridget Regan was absolutely a fan favorite on Legend of the Seeker, but she has joined Beauty and the Beast as "the other woman," so to speak. The show was setting up a love story between Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan), and just when it seemed like the two were actually going to try to make a romance work, they crossed paths with Alex (Regan), Vincent's ex. Old feelings surfaced, despite Vincent keeping a major part of his new life secret, and an extremely complex love tr...
On The CW drama series Beauty and the Beast, which recently won the People’s Choice Award for Best New Drama, Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) risks everything to keep Vincent (Jay Ryan) safe when she suspects that Muirfield might know his whereabouts. In spite of the disastrous possibilities, she is forced to interrupt his romantic cabin getaway with Alex (guest star Bridget Regan), in order to save their lives.
During this recent exclusive phone interview with Collider, actress Bridget R...
On Beauty and the Beast, three's a crowd. Up until now, New York police detective Catherine Chandler (Kristin Kreuk) and former physician-turned-Muirfield experiment Vincent Keller (Jay Ryan) have been dancing around their attraction. When Vincent's ex-fiancee Alex Salter (Bridget Regan) comes back into his life, those romantic feelings from all those years ago come bubbling back to the surface. The only catch? Alex doesn't know the full story of Vincent's beastly side but allwillbe r...
This Thursday on Beauty and the Beast (The CW, 9/8c), Alex will pull out all the stops (and some sexy lingerie) in the name of rekindling things with Vincent during a private getaway. But will an unwelcome intrusion or two douse their fire?Bridget Regan previewed the pivotal episode, confirmed Alex’s agenda and shared her geek love for a certain HBO drama.

BURBANK, CALIF. -- Bridget Regan is back as Alex on “Beauty and The Beast” tonight, and her character is hoping to head off on a little romantic getaway with Jay Ryan’s Vincent, to rekindle their old romance.
But, for fans pining for the Vincent-Catherine pairing, there’s some good news. Alex still has to hear from Vincent about his secret, which could extinguish that relationship. She also is starting to notice that Kristin Kreuk’s Catherine has something of her own going on w...
Before I post the interview, I would just like to say: Bridget, we fans have got your back and always will!
Bridget Regan is used to having rabid fans from her cult syndicated series Legend of the Seeker. She was not prepared, however, for the backlash she'd face on Beauty and the Beast.
"I can't look at Twitter anymore!" Regan told Beauty and the Beast even though lots of fans want you gone. Not many people like Alex.' I understand why people don't like Alex, I suppose, but I can't ...

It begins as what could be an interesting period ensemble western, but devolves into a murky supernatural drama. The show appears to be working towards the goal of getting these people to their intended destination -- in one piece, fingers crossed -- but throwing in a mysterious figure wearing a coat of the scalps of blonde women and a child having visions of rivers running red with blood just makes it seem like the creators didn't know when to pull back.

CAMP WANATACHI
hello my fellow seekers, last nite (jan-28th2011) was one of the most exhilarating experience of my year thus far. why you ask? well any true seeker fan knows that Bridget Regan ”ahh my ultimate female crush” apart from being an extraordinary actress wears many hats one of them is producer after watching an interview with her i came to the understanding my beloved confessor had a project brewing in zed’s magical pot. she was producing an off Broadway play about two Christian girls going...
La MaMa Experimental Theater Club is proud to announce the January 26th opening of CAMP WANATACHI, a hilariously provocative new electro-musical that explores two girls' journey of sexual discovery within the unlikely setting of an all-female Christian summer camp. Spirit-soaked and hormone-charged, this thrilling piece of theater challenges our preconceptions about the relationship between sex and religion, and in doing so imparts to us an essential truth: "There is no fear in love."...
Camp Wanatachi follows the story of 14 year-old Jana—an impetuous, pubescent, born-again Christian. This summer, Jana’s world is turned upside down when her friendship with Titi O’Malley—a promiscuous, bulimic beauty—challenges her faith and forces her to wrestle with desires she’d rather leave under the covers. Under an idyllic sky and fueled by roasted marshmallows, a cast of eccentric campers and counselors struggle to understand what love truly means.
Christian camp can be enlightening—and not just in a religious sort of way. The summer humidity swirling with adolescent pheromones in those sex-segregated cabins can be a dangerous combo, contributing to more than one sexual awakening over the long history of sleep-away camp. That’s exactly the setting in which 14-year-old Jana and Titi meet in Camp Wanatachi, an electro-musical by Natalie Elizabeth Weiss and Bekah Brunstetter that grapples wit...
New summer camp-inspired musical Camp Wanatachi will run off-Broadway from Jan. 21 to Feb. 6 at the La Mama Experimental Theatre Club in New York City.

We've received quite a few e-mails from those of you who haven't purchased season 2 of Legend of the Seeker on DVD. Each of you asking if it is indeed worth the price. The only thing that disappointed me, besides the "Second and FINAL Season" printed on the cover was the lack of bonus features. I paid $45 for it at Best Buy and It felt like a rip off considering the fact that I already purchased the episodes from iTunes and the only reason I bought the DVD's was for the bonus features.

And, naturally, it’s Wonder Woman who has come to save the day. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. is hoping to bring the superheroine to the small screen, with David E. Kelley rumored to be at the top of the showrunner wishlist.
I’m not a hard-core comic-bookie by any means, but even I’m pretty excited about this. Kel...

Set in the world of New York City's elite private kindergartens, THE BEST AND THE BRIGHTEST centers on a fresh-faced young couple, Samantha and Jeff, who have only recently moved into town. The comedy centers on their dawning realization of the lengths they must go to in order to get their five-year-old daughter into school.
I just wouldn’t have guessed it, but Legend of the Seeker has a huge amount of fans. Either that, or a small amount of very vocal ones. In any case, the show (which airs only in syndication) is still gathering fans, despite the fact that it was cancelled after its second season earlier this year. Outrage could be heard across the internet as the aforementioned fans headed up “Save Our Seeker” campaigns in order to revive the series based on Terry Goodkind’s Swor...

And so it has begun. Legend of the Seeker fans are out tosave their favorite show, which is apparently on the very edge of cancellation after just two seasons on the air. There's nothing official yet, actually, but the usually reliable Michael Ausiello reported the other day on his Entertainment Weekly blog, The Ausiello Files, that the powers that be are ready to put a sword in the cult-favorite fantasy show that stars Bridget Regan, Craig Horner, Bruce Spence, and Tabrett Bethell....

Sam Raimi’s track record hasn’t been all that great recently. He seems to be doing okay with Spartacus: Blood and Sand but his “Drag Me To Hell” movie was a dud and now his other fantasy television show, Legend of the Seeker, seems to have been dropped from the fall lineup. Rumors hit the Web this week that ABC Domestic Television is pulling the plug on the show, which is filmed in New Zealand, where Raimi and partner Rob Tapert once launched the mega showsHercules: The Legenda...
What does it take to kill a television show? A cold heart? An empty soul? A sinister predilection for evil? Or perhaps just a recognition that at the end of the day the numbers don’t add up? Television executives are people, too, but they are often lampooned for being cold, heartless, and machinistic. ABC Domestic Television executives are about to learn what it feels like to take the heat over a decision that was, almost without a doubt, based solely on numbers and economics.

With second season of Legend of the Seeker nearing end I thought it would be good to take another look at this fantasy TV series. Let me remind those of you who have not read the review of the LotS we have posted a year ago (read ithere), Legend of the Seeker is a TV series based on The Sword of Truth novels by Terry Goodkind, produced by Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert, two stars behind the legendary fantasy series "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" and "Xena: Warrior Princess".
Legend of the Seeker fans sounded a collective 'nay' last week when a representative from the Tribune Company (which owns most of the stations that air the syndicated show) revealed it would not be interested in a third season. There’s been no official announcement from ABC Studios, of course, but having recently chatted by phone with Aussie star Craig Horner (Seeker's Richard Rahl) as he relaxed in an Auckland Starbucks, it sounds like the poor guy might be ready for a break.

On the count of Spartacus fans will be happy to know that it was already approved for a second season even before the first aired.

If you're a fan of the syndicated fantasy seriesLegend of the Seeker, you must not miss this weekend's all-new "Torn." It features some ultrasexy Richard-and-Kahlan scenes, and we just chatted with Bridget Regan exclusively to find out why the Confessor and the Seeker are making out, plus we got scoop on how come the show shook up season two with a new castmember and a new look for Kahlan...

I recently got a chance to talk to Bridget Regan, who plays Kahlan Amnell on Legend of the Seeker, about this week's new episode "Torn" which will see her character go through quite a trip.
It's no secret that I have been a huge fan of Bridget Regan since the beginning of Legend of the Seeker (you can read my previous interview with her here). she is a really talented actress that is just getting started in her career. I anticipate we'll be soon seeing a lot more of her.

If you’re a fan of Legend of the Seeker or the show’s star, Bridget Regan, watch “Torn,” this weekend’s episode.
Just trust me.
It’s not just a wonderfully satisfying episode — it’s also an impressive acting tour de force by Regan whose character, the Confessor Kahlan, is split into two very different halves.

IF THE SHOE FITS: Craig Horner got a little taste of the disadvantages of feminine-style foot fashion recently, when the “Legend of the Seeker” star found himself required to do battle in clothing quite different from his usual woodsman-type gear. “My usual costume is pretty free and easy, but I had to be dressed up for this big ballroom fight in an episode recently. I had to do kicks in these boots that looked like they belonged to Kahlan,” he says, referring to the leading lady role...
