  With second season of Legend of the Seeker nearing end I thought it would be good to take another look at this fantasy TV series. Last week, I was lucky enough to catch up with Legend of the Seeker star Bridget Regan between takes on set in New Zealand. She plays the confident and lovely Kahlan Amnell, and she's just as cool in person and you'd like to think.

Great news, Legend of the Seeker fans! You may have heard rumors that your show had been canceled, but we just talked with an inside source close to the show, and well, the rumors are just not true.
Yes, the Tribune Station Group is dropping Legend of the Seeker in a lot of markets, but that's not the end of the road for Richard (Craig Horner), Kahlan (Bridget Regan) and Cara (Tabrett Bethell). Here's the good news that we've heard about the future of our favorite cult-hit fantasy series:

 News of the death of Legend of the Seeker was premature.
A source close to the show tells TheTorchOnline.com that, contrary
to the implication of some previous media reports, the show is
definitely not canceled, the studio is interested in bringing it back
for a third season, and that they’re actively exploring options to make
that happen.
